TEAM LEAD

Leadership, Empathy, Accountability and Discussion

Team LEAD Programs and Services

The bystander leadership and mentoring approach of Team LEAD has benefits for all grade levels.  A program tailored to your needs, whether elementary or secondary, will be developed by the consultant to assist you in empowering YOUR students to change the current “Cool to be Cruel” climate to one that promotes leadership, kindness, and compassion.  Working with one school or the entire school district, Team LEAD addresses issues of bullying, intolerance, and lack of leadership that are symptoms of the larger problem of disconnected, at-risk, and hopeless youth (as well as frustrated, overwhelmed educators) in our society today.
  • Presentation and Keynotes for teachers, parents, and students

Making a Difference in an Indifferent World:  A look at social issues and challenges faced by kids and families today and how kids can be empowered to change that negative environment to one much more positive.

  • Team LEAD Program Consulting and Materials

A year-long partnership during which the consultant will work with the school to institute the Team LEAD program which best suits the school.  This consultation may include multiple presentations for teachers, leadership teams, staff, parents, and students depending on the wishes of the school.  Manuals and other resources are also included in the program.

  • Team LEADership Workshops for Student Leaders

Remember the Starfish:  YOU Make the Difference:  A full or half day leadership workshop for student leaders designed to be an introduction to relational aggression and bystander leadership.  Through multi-media presentations, leadership activities, and small group work, student leaders will learn about the social issues and research concerning teenagers today and what they, as bystanders, can do to change the negative social climate in schools and communities.  This workshop is designed to be a catalyst for development of an ongoing student-led initiative to promote safe schools and positive relationships.
